EMD is now working with Leeds City College, the fund manager for The Redundancy Service "Response to Redundancy" project for Yorkshire and Humberside.
The project is funded by the European Social Fund via the Skills Funding Agency. The project can pay for your training if you are under consultation or notice of redundancy, or if you are unemployed.
You must be aged 18 years or over and living or working in the Yorkshire and Humber region. You are not required to be accessing any benefits or allowances.
You will be given help to complete a Skills and Experience Analysis Form and EMD will help you by placing you on an appropriate training programme.

- PTLLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector);
- Employability Skills;
- Employability Skills (with additional language support);
- Introduction to Retail Skills;
- A variety of IT courses (Excel, Word, Email & Internet, Powerpoint);
- Introduction to Office Skills & Business Administration;
- Introduction to Hairdressing;
- Introduction to Beauty Therapy;
- Strategies for Dealing with Dyslexia;
- Introduction to working in Warehousing and Storage.
